Favorite Musical: Fun Home
A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Emily most recently wrote, produced, and directed her first narrative feature ALREADY TOMORROW IN HONG KONG, starring Jamie Chung and Bryan Greenberg. The film had its World Premiere at the 2015 Los Angeles Film Festival and was distributed theatrically and on VOD in North America by Gravitas Ventures in 2016. The film was also released theatrically in Hong Kong, Macau, and Thailand. Emily was previously mostly known for her producing work.
Emily produced the feature THE KITCHEN, an ensemble comedy directed by Ishai Setton and starring Laura Prepon, Bryan Greenberg, and Dreama Walker. The film premiered
as the Closing Night Film of the Gen Art Film Festival and was picked up for distribution by Monterey Media. Recently, Emily produced Stephen Suettinger’s A YEAR AND CHANGE, starring Bryan Greenberg, Claire van der Boom, T.R. Knight, Marshall Allman, and Jamie Hector. She participated in the Film
Independent Producing Lab with the project.
Additionally, Emily served as the Associate Producer for Yen Tan’s PIT STOP (Sundance 2013), Executive Producer for Dave Boyle’s MAN FROM RENO (LAFF 2014), and Co-Executive Producer for Aaron Katz and Martha Stephen's LAND HO! (Sundance 2014).
