Lindsay Armstrong is a filmmaker and editor who has been telling stories her whole life. When she wasn't singing original songs into her Fisher Price tape recorder, she was writing down plays and stories into countless journals that can still be found tucked away in her childhood bedroom.
Lindsay was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and attended The University of Arizona, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology, and minors in Music and Media Arts. She went on to earn her MFA from the School of Cinematic Arts at USC, where she quickly formed a deep love of editing.
While at USC, she created and crewed on numerous films that she is proud of, while also getting hired to edit outside projects. Many of these films have since garnered success on the festival circuit. Lindsay currently works as an Assistant Editor at Pixar Animation Studios in Emeryville, California, where she is living out her childhood dream of working in Animation and working with some of her heroes.
Musical theatre was a big part of Lindsay's life growing up, so she is thrilled to work alongside Mallorie and the Nanay Ko team to combine the two loves of her life- movies and musicals!
